BRIEF

Our client had invested in many different pieces of furniture around the garden at different times and was dissatisfied at the different colours of beige toned fabric which were on display in their beautiful garden. They wanted to renew all the upholstery and covers to compliment each other, but not to be the same single colour everywhere.

Their most recent furniture purchase was a grey rattan style set and the upholstery was a charcoal grey which they liked and wanted the rest of the garden to coincide. The factory supplied covers which came with their new rattan set, were ill-fitting, unsightly and not matching in colour.

THE SOLUTION

As storage wasn’t an issue for the client interior grade foam was chosen. Comfort was a key factor in this garden as the clients spend lots of their time relaxing and entertaining.

The client wanted to integrate a pop of colour, while not seeing the same colours everywhere you looked. To us it was simple; we encouraged the selection of three complimenting colourways, one dark, one bright and one stripe. We then recommended where these would look and feature best.

The addition of tailored, protective covers for the new rattan set was a must, not only to protect the rattan from the harsh and unpredictable weather here in the South Coast of the UK, but enabled the client to keep the cushions in place when the seats where in use. Saving valuable storage space for the other upholstery items produced.
