All quotations provided by C&J Outdoors for bespoke or custom items are valid for 7 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.

A quotation is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer. An order is only confirmed once we receive written acceptance from you and any required deposit or full payment as outlined in the quote.

Custom and made-to-order items are non-refundable and non-returnable, except in the case of verified manufacturing defects.

Lead times are estimated in good faith but may be subject to change due to material availability or production capacity. We will keep you informed of any significant delays.

At C&J Outdoors, we are committed to delivering your order safely and efficiently. This section outlines the terms that apply to shipping, delivery timelines, and related responsibilities.

Order Processing

• Standard in-stock items are typically processed within [1–3 business days] of receiving full payment.

• Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

• Processing times for custom or made-to-order items may vary and will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase or quotation.

Shipping Methods

• The shipping service we offer is 5-7 working days. This allows for your order to be picked, packed and despatched to you within this timeframe.

• Shipping providers may include Royal Mail, Parcelforce, DPD, or others depending on your location and order size.

• Tracking information will be provided where available.

Delivery Timeframes

• Estimated delivery timeframes are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

• Actual delivery times may vary based on destination, courier service, seasonal demand, or unforeseen delays (e.g. weather or industrial action).

• We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers once an order has left our facility.

Shipping Costs

• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, order weight, and shipping method selected.

• Free or discounted shipping offers may be available during promotions or on qualifying orders.

International Shipping

• We do not offer international shipping currently via our website. If your location is not listed at checkout, please contact us for a custom quote.

• International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply in their destination country. These charges are not included in our pricing and are outside of our control.

Delivery Access and Requirements

• It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address. Please double-check your delivery information before placing your order.

• If a delivery requires access to a gated area, security code, or specific instructions, this must be included during checkout or communicated to us immediately after placing your order.

• For larger or bespoke items requiring delivery to a physical location (e.g., outdoor structures, installations), please ensure safe, clear access is available. Further terms in section below: ‘On Site Visits & Professional Installation’.

Missed or Failed Deliveries

• If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address, no one being available to receive the parcel, or restricted access, the courier may:

  • Leave a note with redelivery instructions,

  • Attempt a second delivery,

  • Hold the parcel at a local depot, or

  • Return the item to us.

• If a package is returned due to customer error or inaccessibility, additional charges may apply for re-delivery.

Lost or Damaged Items

• If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photos and a description of the issue.

• If an item is marked as delivered but you have not received it, notify us immediately so we can open an investigation with the courier.

• Claims for lost or missing packages must be submitted within 7 business days of the estimated delivery date.

Title and Risk

• Ownership of products passes to you once the order has been shipped and leaves our premises.

• Risk of loss or damage is transferred to you upon delivery to the address you provided.

All materials, including our designs, intellectual property, and related information, are strictly confidential and must not be disclosed, copied, reproduced, or distributed without our written consent.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability, whether in contract, warranty, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service in question. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law. Further information on liability insurance is available on our website.

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability. Once you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it. This acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs only when we send you a confirmation email that your order has been dispatched or, in the case of bespoke/custom items, that your order has been formally confirmed in writing.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion. This may include orders that:

• Appear to be placed by resellers or distributors without prior agreement;

• Cannot be fulfilled due to stock availability or system errors;

• Are flagged by our payment processor as potentially fraudulent.

In such cases, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund if payment has already been processed.

All prices are listed in GBP.

The final price, including applicable taxes and shipping, will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase.

Payment is required in full at the time of checkout unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g., for bulk, trade, or custom orders).

We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa and MasterCard. We do not accept American Express.

All transactions are processed through encrypted and PCI-compliant payment gateways for your security.

We reserve the right to perform security checks and to request additional identification or documentation before processing large or high-risk transactions.

All photographs are provided for illustration and guidance purposes only. They may include optional extras or custom features selected by individual customers, which are not included as part of our standard package. Images may have been taken some years ago and may not reflect current specifications. C&J Outdoors reserves the right to change, adapt, or improve product designs, fabrics, components, window shapes, styles, and other features at our discretion and without prior notice.

If you send us, or if you post reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share it for promotional purposes.

When collecting a new custom design for an item, we employ our most experienced staff and the latest technologies to ensure the items fit perfectly the first time. However, this is not always guaranteed. Occasionally, custom products may need to be returned to C&J Outdoors for minor adjustments or tailoring. We make these modifications to ensure the final product meets our high standards of quality and performance. We aim to complete all modifications within a reasonable timeframe to minimise any inconvenience.

The customer is aware, and accepts, that the company are unable to offer any guarantees regarding laundering, valeting or repairs. Please refer to the separate detailed Valeting Disclaimer.

Visits for design consultations, templating, or installation may incur additional charges for parking or access. If your location falls within a low emission zone (LEZ), relevant charges for our vehicles may also apply.

These costs can sometimes be unforeseen and will be added to your quotation, sales order acknowledgment, and final invoice, where applicable.

In certain cases — such as bespoke installations, site-based services, or delivery requiring physical access — C&J Outdoors may require access to your property as part of the production or fulfillment process. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions:

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Ensure that all address and contact details provided are complete, accurate, and up to date.

• Notify us promptly if your property will be inaccessible at any time between your order date and the estimated completion or delivery date.

• Inform us of any personal periods of absence (e.g., holidays, business travel) that may affect when we can arrange a visit.

Site Safety and Accessibility

• For health and safety reasons, all sites — including gardens, outbuildings, and work areas — must be clean, safe, and accessible to allow our team to perform their work without unreasonable risk or obstruction.

• If your property is undergoing building work, has restricted access, or contains potential hazards (e.g. loose animals, unstable structures, hazardous materials), you must inform us in advance so our team can take appropriate precautions (e.g., personal protective equipment).

Failed or Delayed Access

• If we are unable to gain access, or if the site is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the scheduled visit, we reserve the right to reschedule at our discretion.

• Additional charges may apply to cover return visits, delays, or added logistical costs caused by:

  • Incomplete or inaccurate location details,

  • Lack of notification about access restrictions,

  • Unsafe site conditions.
