The Brief
Our client in Wiltshire was looking for a stylish and practical shading solution for their outdoor seating area. They wanted something that could provide sun protection during the warmer months while maintaining an open, airy feel. The project needed to be suitable for DIY installation to help manage overall costs.
Our Solution
We recommended our Retractable Pergola Awning system, complete with a three-wire stainless steel tension support system for durability and smooth operation. The client opted for the Soltis Horizon 86 Mesh in Boulder, a high-performance fabric that provides UV protection while still allowing visibility and airflow—ideal for creating a light, comfortable shaded area.
To enhance functionality, they selected optional extras including:
